Barbora Krtickova assumed the role of assistant coach in July of 2016 after serving as a graduate assistant the past two years. During the 2015-16 campaign, she helped the Eagles claim their second National Championship in the last three seasons and the seventh overall in program history as Emory defeated Williams College, 5-4, in the championship match. Earlier in the year, Krtickova was honored by the University Athletic Association by being named part of the Coaching Staff of the Year as the team won its fourth consecutive UAA title and 27th in the last 29 seasons. Krtickova came to Emory after a illustrious collegiate career at Armstrong State University, an NCAA Division II program in Savannah, Georgia. She helped lead the team to the NCAA Division II National Championship in both 2012 and 2013, while claiming the singles title at the ITA Fall Small College National ‘Super Bowl’ in 2012, and the doubles title at the event in both 2010 and 2012. Krtickova finished her career as the program's all-time leader in overall wins (306), doubles wins (170), and second all-time with 136 singles victories. She was inducted into the ASU Hall of Fame in December of 2017. Krtickova has also played professionally, reaching WTA rankings of 539 th for doubles and 652 nd for singles, while also winning doubles ITF 10K Tournaments in Budapest, Hungary and Thessalonkiki, Greece.

In addition to her playing career, Krtickova has coaching experience both in Greenwich, Connecticut and her native Czech Republic. She holds a Tennis Coaching Certificate from the Czech National Tennis Association. Krtickova graduated from Armstrong Atlantic in May of 2014, earning both CoSIDA Academic All-District and D3ADA Academic Achievement Awards.

In May of 2016, she obtained her master's degree in Sports Administration from Georgia State.
